Profiles- State Farm
Updated 6/17/2020

The Profiles classification was established in 1996. The concept behind this was to reach out to companies and organizations in an effort to assist them in commemorating anniversaries and special occasions. Products were designed for and exclusively sold by those entities. In turn, it was hoped that those individuals would become avid village collectors.

State Farm is a well-renowned insurance company. In 1997, Texas artist Randy Souders did a lithograph entitled Main Street Memories. State Farm partnered with Department 56 to recreate some of the buildings featured in the print. These items were available for company employees only. The lit buildings are porcelain and adapt well into Christmas In The City. It is believed that a church and/or a Victorian house, seen in the distance of the print, was also in negotiations but never made it past discussion.
